whole area @ Southwest Airlines is cashless - credit cards only and no waiters...all done from a tablet - food was good but no options to order a glass of water...smh
A lot of servers walking around but found it hard to get a refill of water or soda. I looked around and everyone had half empty or empty glasses. Food is good for an airport restaurant, just very poor service.
Average experience all around -- from the food, to the drinks, to the service. Still one of the better options at DCA.
The sandwich and salad were ok. However, it took longer than 20 mins to make a white chocolate rice cake. We just caught our flight on time because of it. We had to ask for a to to box for the cake and it looked terrible. It’s not a pleasure to have such a stressful dinner before the flight.
Helpful staff, good food. Stopped in for breakfast. This is the one at the airport, so expect airport prices. Great overall.
We stopped here for breakfast between flights. You order using a small tablet mounted at every seating area. We were a bit rushed as one of the servers came by to tell us that the menu was switching to lunch in 2 minutes. We hurriedly ordered 2 coffees and 2 bowls of oatmeal. Both were fine but we didn't really have a chance to actually study the menu.
The art was amazing and I learned that some of the presidential art isn't even in the weight house. One of my favorites was the Obama painting.
I ordered a flavoured decaf cappuccino. It was prompt and perfectly done. The waiter showed me how to work the electronic ordering system to get a receipt. All seats have power for a laptop. Perfect for the airport. The window view was nice.
Great breakfast, easy to order and fast, friendly service!
The soup was great and so was the atmosphere.
I can understand the tablets/iPad use to ensure orders but to auto add gratuity and refuse cash payments is ridiculous. The bartenders were like robots not caring just delivery agents. I sit at a bar to interact with people and the bartender not a device.
Very standard restaurant. Upside is service is very quick and automated service through tablets(although a bit impersonal, but makes all so quick), nice staff and good variety of drinks. Bad side is food doesn't stand out at all. Because of the price, I'd say cost benefit is just good enough. Also if ordering the steak beware of the cooking point, asked for two medium rares and got two well dones.
Great fast food as long as you can figure out the iPad system. They could make it a bit more user friendly.
Really good airport restaurant. Had a good prime rib sandwich, good fries. Tea was fresh brewed and strong. Service was fast and friendly.
Quite place to sit, eat, drink, and browse in Terminal A. On our visit to Reservoir, the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, Terminal A was quite busy, but Reservoir, located inside security close to the TSA screening point, was a welcome, quite place. The restaurant provides tablet computers on which to order food and drink and browse websites. The menu is diverse, relatively common fare. We ordered lunch. The food and drink arrived promptly. My Caesar salad was fair. The prices were high. Overall, I’d rate Reservoir as a fair value mostly due to the seating with food and drink outside the main busy, crowded terminal area.
Because this place has tablet ordering you won't want to come here if your looking for interaction with the staff, but being that its in an airport it actually is,perfect. Order when you want, pay immediately and there is no waiting or flagging down anyone to order or pay. Prime rib sandwich was delicious.
Just ordered appies - Rapini sauteed in garlic and shallot and cute & chicken wings. They were excellent and the service was too. Expensive, but that's to be expected. It's the Airport after all. That's why 4 and not 5 starts.
Quick easy service. Airport prices but good food.
Jamell is top notch! He recommended the chicken sandwich to me and explained how it was prepared. Although he's a chef and not the person who serves the customers at the table he was happy to provide outstanding customer service with a smile. He prepared my food and it was fantastic!! I eat here each time I travel and I hope he can prepare my next dinner! Thanks so much for your hospitality!
Best experience I've had at an airport restaurant. Food was good and looked like they cared when making it. I had the avocado toast and tea. Clean, good atmosphere and great service.
Food tasted horrible. Wouldn't recommend
Different and oddly the food taste good. Live their sorbet and pasta was very tasty.
The food is good but the prices are outrageous even for airport food.
It's fine for an airport restaurant. Service was excellent
The absolute worst restaurant experience here! Server did not bring a glass of water, ketchup, or extra A1 Sauce as I'd requested when my meal and cocktail was delivered. My tab was already closed too when I tried to pull up my check on the screen to order another drink. I will never add a gratuity in advance again (as requested) via this digital waiter system. What a joke! Very disappointing. The only reason I didn't leave one star was because the food was pretty good.
Kind of expensive but very good food. Ordering was quick and easy with the use of the iPads. I love not having to wait for a waiter to order my food. The service was very fast the venue was clean and cozy. The California burger and Arnold Palmer was very delicious and satisfying. I would definitely eat here if traveling through the airport.
A good place to spend some time before flying. The food and drinks were tasty
Amazing food. The head chef Robert is amazing too! He made our visit there! Great service! Thank you.
I ordered a medium rare burger and fries which costed me $23. When I got my burger, it was burnt and soaked in grease, making the bun soggy too. You could get something of the same size for a fourth the price with better quality at any McDonalds. Do not eat here.
A place to sit down out of the bustle at DCA, and servers were friendly, so an extra star for that. You order from an iPad at your seat. Tap list wasn't great, nor was my sandwich.
unpleasant airport "pub" with bolted-down barstools and always-on iPads flashing advertisements. Spirit Airlines ambiance, at business class prices.
I visit this place a lot since I work in the area. I must say the customer service is always great and they keep the place clean at all times. Rates are reasonable and they serve big portions.
Service is was fast. Food was good for an airport bar. I like the option of ordering everything on a tablet
Love it and the service is great. It comes to you no waiting in line
Food is good with excellent service. I had chicken soup which warmed my soul and a cheeseboard. Will be back.
Does not accept cash. My order came out to around $16 with tip and was told i had to purchase a $25 gift card because i only had cash. I refuse to be forced to spend more money just to be able to eat at this establishment, therefore i didn't order anything from here.
The food is fairly good. Expensive, but the service is weird. The iPad's don't seem to be more efficient, especially when altering something. I asked a cheese substitution and the server was to tell the kitchen, but didn't. It's also fairly distracting to have these iPads flashing advertisements at you while you are trying to eat. The food is good, but the restuarant as a whole is really not worth it.
Using devices to take orders is no excuse for poor service. Even though we order using the device and no one checks on you, a tip? For what. The only bar tender is over worked and trying to check on so many people, he needs help. Food arrived cold and dry, sent the food back.
